Course Changes

As part of the transition to the UK Resilience Academy, all programmes have been reviewed and updated.
To reflect current practice, sector feedback, and alignment we have taken certain measures to improve and update our courses.
A key enhancement is the change of format, we are now carrying out a 2-stage configuration. Which means in addition, attendees will carry out a short online pre-course. This is designed to help you prepare in advance so that the classroom (whether that’s the online classroom for web courses or face-to-face for residential bookings) can focus more on discussion, practical application, and shared learning.
Course titles have also been updated and refreshed. Don’t worry though, while the title and format of the courses may look different, its core purpose, quality and learning level remain the same.
We have also aligned our training and development offer with the revised National Occupational Standards. The Resilience and Emergencies NOS are embedded into UKRA’s courses, they shape the design of our materials and assessment models and provide a consistent foundation for upskilling and professionalising the resilience workforce.
To help with the transition, we thought it would be useful to new and pre-existing customers to see what the previous titles were and what the new titles are now.
