This Framework sets out the Northern Ireland Arrangements for effective Emergency Management, identifying the processes involved in preparing for, responding to and recovering from an emergency. Produced by the Civil Contingencies Framework team, it is complementary to the Civil Contingencies Act 2004. Drawing on best practices and lessons learned, the Framework brings together existing protocols and guidance from the UK, Republic of Ireland and beyond.
