VCSEP Exercising

VCS Emergencies Partnership (EP) was created in 2018 in response to a series of major incidents the previous year. The EP provides the VCS, emergency services, local councils and other important partners with opportunities for connection and collaboration – before, during and after emergencies.

Their website provides scenario exercises from a variety of sources which can be adapted and tailored to an organisation’s needs. Scenario exercises are useful tools in helping organisations to develop understanding of each other’s capabilities, test specific aspects of a response and identify potential gaps in a safe environment.
