The UK Resilience Academy Digital Design and Development Team is celebrating the successful completion of the Level 5 Diploma in Digital Learning Design as part of carrying out an apprenticeship with the business. This marks the end of an important chapter and the start of an exciting new one.

We’re particularly proud that Helen Jubb (Learning & Development Manager), Ariane Schofield (Learning & Development Quality Co-ordinator) and Katy Stocks (Learning & Development Officer) all achieved Distinctions. The team managed all of this while balancing the learning programme alongside the development of the UKRA’s new e-learning curriculum and other major projects.

Helen Jubb explains what this opportunity has meant for the Team and the UK Resilience Academy overall…

Over the last two years, we’ve had the opportunity to explore how learning, technology and creativity come together to make a real difference across the UKRA. While our work is often associated with creating engaging learning materials, the apprenticeship has reinforced the wider role we play in shaping how people learn, develop and access knowledge in an increasingly digital world.

Throughout the programme, we’ve challenged ourselves to think differently, test new approaches and embrace emerging technologies. From improving the learner experience and increasing accessibility to exploring innovative digital solutions, the apprenticeship has strengthened our ability to support the UKRA’s ambitions and respond to future challenges.

As a team, we’re proud to be helping shape the future of learning at UKRA. The apprenticeship has equipped us with new skills, fresh perspectives and the confidence to keep driving innovation and creating meaningful learning experiences across the organisation.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the journey. We’re excited to put these new skills into practice and continue advancing digital learning across UKRA.

Congratulations to Helen, Ariane and Katy on this fantastic achievement!
